Taylor Wimpey Colney Manor hosts New Home Era event in Colney Heath

Taylor Wimpey is inviting prospective buyers to Colney Heath later this month for a New Year event aimed at those considering a move in 2026, with an opportunity to reserve a new home at its Colney Manor development.

The New Home Era event will take place between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 24 January at Colney Manor. Visitors will be able to explore the development, view available properties and step inside the showhomes, which have been designed to help buyers visualise life in a new Taylor Wimpey home.

The event is intended to support buyers who are planning their next move and want a clearer understanding of the purchasing process. Throughout the day, Taylor Wimpey Sales Executives will be on hand to provide guidance on schemes including Easymover and Part Exchange, both designed to help streamline the journey to a new home at Colney Manor.

Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “We’re so excited to host our first event of the year at Colney Manor so potential buyers can learn more about Easymover and Part Exchange. Your New Home Era is a great chance for residents to imagine life at Colney Manor in 2026, while also gaining additional information, exploring the development, and viewing our showhomes.

“For buyers looking to start this year in their New Home Era, we encourage you to visit the Colney Manor development on Saturday 24th January. Ring in the new year with Taylor Wimpey, and envision life at our Colney Heath development.”

Colney Manor is set within the village of Colney Heath in Hertfordshire, offering a blend of countryside surroundings and access to local amenities. The village became a civil parish in 1947 and also includes the nearby settlements of Smallford and Sleapshyde. Among its features are a converted windmill, a local nature reserve and community sports facilities.

Colney Heath has a primary school for children aged three to eleven and hosts a football club competing in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, as well as a rugby league club, both based at The Recreation Ground. The village is also twinned with Boissy-sous-Saint-Yon in France, with regular exchange visits between families.

Taylor Wimpey says Colney Manor is suited to buyers seeking a calmer village setting while remaining close to the historic city of St Albans. Current homes available at the development range from £775,000 for a four-bedroom detached property to £985,000 for a five-bedroom detached home, giving buyers a choice of layouts and sizes.
