Terma A/S, a global provider of mission-critical solutions for defence, aerospace, and security, has acquired Reading-based Operational Solutions Ltd (OSL), a counter-drone and airspace management technology company. The deal provides an exit for BGF, which initially invested in OSL in 2021.
Since BGF’s investment, OSL has grown substantially, establishing itself as a key provider of counter-drone detection and management solutions. Its technology is deployed in critical environments including Heathrow Airport and Wembley Stadium, offering advanced situational awareness and airspace security.
With BGF’s backing, OSL expanded its workforce from 50 to over 100 employees, strengthened its leadership team with a chief operating officer, and accelerated research and development. The growth capital investment also enabled the company to scale commercial operations, enhance data and software capabilities, and expand into international markets.

The exit follows several successful realisations by BGF in recent months, including BB7, Monodraught, Brisant Secure, Braidwater Group, Panthera Biopartners, and OrganOx, highlighting the effectiveness of its long-term investment approach.
