Construction has begun on The Interchange, the first major office development at Brabazon and the only new Grade A office building in Bristol.
The scheme, being delivered by YTL Construction UK, will provide 86,300 sq ft of high-specification office space, due for completion by the end of 2027.
The Interchange will comprise eight storeys with flexible floorplates starting from 2,600 sq ft. Features include a private roof terrace, café, double-height reception, concierge, and 24/7 access.
Additional facilities include 152 cycle spaces with end-of-trip amenities, on-site parking with EV charging, and strong transport connections via rail and road.
Seb Loyn, director of Planning & Development at YTL Developments, said: “Central Bristol is struggling to meet demand for premium commercial space, with Grade A vacancy at historic lows and rents at record highs. The Interchange offers a sustainable, connected alternative at Brabazon.”
John Thompson, chief executive of YTL Construction UK, added: “Breaking ground on The Interchange marks the start of a landmark project for Bristol. Our focus is on delivering exceptional quality and sustainability, creating spaces that enable businesses to grow and succeed.”
