Honda is celebrating another award-winning success for the Super-N, having been crowned Fun Car of the Year at the News UK Motor Awards 2026.
The award recognises the Super-N’s unique ability to combine all-electric efficiency with genuine driver enjoyment, demonstrating that electrified mobility can be every bit as exciting as it is practical.
Commenting on the Super-N’s success, Will Dron, Digital Driving Editor at The Times and Sunday Times, said: “The Honda Super N is a riot, tiny but with the heart of a hot hatch. It isn’t a rocketship but because it’s so light and nimble, it excels at driver engagement. That’s especially true when using the excellent simulated gearshifts. We also love the styling nods to the Honda City Turbo II. This is a small EV that generates big smiles.”
The accolade highlights the Super-N’s growing reputation amongst the UK’s motoring media, with journalists praising its playful character, agile handling and distinctive design. Inspired by Honda’s rich heritage while embracing the latest electric vehicle technology, the Super-N continues to prove that small cars can deliver a truly memorable driving experience.
Michael Doyle, Head of Automobile at Honda Motor Europe (UK), commented: “We’re absolutely delighted that the Honda Super-N has been recognised as Fun Car of the Year by The Times. From the very beginning, the drive behind Super-N was to offer an electric vehicle that would put a smile on people’s faces every time they got behind the wheel. This award is a fantastic endorsement of that goal and highlights the team’s dedication to delivering a vehicle that combines practicality and genuine driving enjoyment.”
As Honda continues its electrification journey, the Super-N demonstrates the brand’s commitment to developing vehicles that are accessible, practical and fun to drive. This latest recognition further strengthens Honda’s position within the growing small electric vehicle market and highlights the appeal of a vehicle designed to make everyday journeys more enjoyable.
