A brand-new event for families is coming to Westgate Oxford this summer: the Natural History Museum London ‘ABC’ Trail, a collaboration with the famed museum celebrating life and earth sciences.
The free discovery trail will be displayed throughout the shopping destination from 20th July to 6th September, inviting guests of all ages to take an Action, challenge their Brainpower, or consider their Curiosity at 26 uniquely inspiring installations.
From animals to ancient fossils and dinosaurs to deep-sea creatures, the trail brings the collections of the Natural History Museum to life with beautiful illustrations and replicas of natural wonders, each accompanied by an interactive challenge and fascinating fact.
Little ones will be encouraged to see flora and fauna like never before by getting up close to models and illustrations, with tasks and prompts including creating symmetry in butterfly wings, navigating a spider-web maze, measuring your feet against an elephant’s, hop-scotching like a kangaroo, and even listening to the sounds of a volcanic eruption.
Explorers who visit each of the 26 installations will receive a sticker when returning to the Guest Experience Pod.
