Surrey have come to an agreement with Alexa Stonehouse to release her early from her contract.
The left-arm seamer will join Warwickshire permanently from the 2027 season, having spent the 2026 season on loan with the midlands side.
Stonehouse played for Surrey in their inaugural season of the new era of Women’s domestic cricket in 2025. She developed through the South East Stars talent pathway, making 19 Surrey appearances and six for the England A side.
In 2025, Stonehouse took 25 wickets for Surrey as the Club won the inaugural Women’s Vitality Blast. Whilst with the Three Feathers, Stonehouse was awarded a place in England’s Performance Programme.
