Dorset Museum & Art Gallery, home to one of the UK’s most important collections of natural history, archaeology, fine art, local history and cultural heritage has further strengthened its commitment to suicide prevention for another year.
Renewing its partnership with Ripple For Business, the museum will continue offering protection to everyone who passes through its galleries via the company’s innovative NetworkShield tool.
Combining forces in 2025, the nearly 90-year-old institution became the first museum in the UK to deploy technology across its building that actively works to intercept and redirect harmful searches for suicide and self-harm content online. Using Ripple For Business’ innovative NetworkShield, staff and visitors using the museum’s WIFI network will receive life-saving support and resources directly at the point of a harmful search.
