Folkestone Harbour Arm Unveils Packed 2026 Events Programme With Food, Music And Festivals

Folkestone Harbour Arm announces its exciting free events line-up for 2026.
New for 2026, from April to September on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, the heart of the Harbour Arm will be transformed into a constantly rotating community of independent street food traders and pop-up bars.  Bringing fresh energy and new flavours to a seafront that has become Kent’s Foodie Destination of Choice, the line-up includes the likes of Pork & Co from Canterbury, Reynolds Ice Cream from Littlestone and Surfs & Burgs from Ashford.
Friday 3rd April – Pop-up seaside food festivals launch – New for 2026!
The Harbour Arm will also be launching their exciting pop-up street food area with revolving street food traders from across Kent & the Southeast. It also sees the full reopening of our charming community of artisans, makers and creators in the Harbour Arm Marketplace with over 35 little shops by the sea housed in fisherman style huts.
Friday 1st May – Music in May Launch Event
Kick off the festival in style with a fantastic selection of live music, giveaways, competitions, and exclusive screenings of previous music video competition winners. Enjoy Q&As, screenings, live performances, and much more.

Monday 4th May – Cuatro de Mayo
A Mexican day of celebration in The Goods Yard – a play on the traditional Cinco de Mayo. Visitors can enjoy a Mexican pop-up from T’s Tacos, while listening to a Mexican Mariachi Band and watching a film screening of The Three Amigos.
 
Friday 8th May – Summer Cinema Launch
Our much-loved free summer cinema returns.  This year the Harbour Arm team is switching things up with changing themes each month that promise something to delight all types of film lovers.
Music in May (8th – 27th May) – The outdoor cinema, sing-along classics we all love In collaboration with Folkestone Music Town’s Music in May Festival. Fridays, 7pm
Double Bills (5th – 27th June) Gin & Tonic. Fish & Chips. Films & Fun Nights out. Some things are just better as a pair. Catch our double-bill classics, back-to-back.
Fridays & Saturdays, 7pm.
Girls Night Out (3rd – 31st July) Get the dancing queens together; this promises for a great start to the weekend.  Fridays, 7pm
Seaside Classics (7th – 28th August) This is when the Harbour Arm’s unique seaside cinema setting really comes into its own. Fridays, 7pm

29th June – 12th July – Back-to-back Wimbledon Coverage
It’s game, set and match for tennis fans as the Harbour screen is set to show more Wimbledon than ever before this summer. With the sun out (fingers crossed) deckchairs at the ready and all the food and drink options you could possibly need, this is going to be the spot to enjoy the oldest tournament in British sport.
Saturday 20th June – Dubs on the Arm 
One of the Harbour Arm’s most popular events returns. Dubs on the Arm welcomes an impressive line-up of classic and modern Volkswagen vehicles, set against the sea.
With enhanced on-site marketing, this year promises an even bigger showcase, drawing car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Sunday 26th July – The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever
Folkestone Harbour Arm’s most iconic event. Join hundreds of people dressed as Kate Bush for a joyful, slightly surreal mass dance celebration overlooking the sea.
Whether you take part or simply watch, this is one not to miss.
Saturday 29th August – Summer Party
After the huge success of last year, the Summer Party returns with an even bigger programme. Expect a spectacular firework display, multiple live music acts, free film screenings and a vibrant festival atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
Throughout the summer school holidays – Summer Workshops
Free weekday family workshops return for the school holidays. From creative activities to hands-on experiences, these sessions are designed to keep little ones entertained while grown-ups relax and enjoy the Harbour Arm.
There will be a raft of activities for visitors to join in from African drumming to arts & crafts and skateboard sessions.
From Saturday 19th September | Four Weekends – Wunder Harbour
Oktoberfest meets the seaside. Wunder Harbour transforms the Harbour Arm with daily oompah band performances, a lively event host, interactive games and immersive decoration.
Expect music, laughter, communal tables and a festive atmosphere from day through to evening.
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November – Remembrance Weekend
The Harbour Arm will commemorate Remembrance weekend with the much-loved poppy installation in the Trackside Garden.
Friday 13th November – Christmas Lights Switch On and Festive Marketplace Opening
The Harbour Arm’s winter transformation begins. Enjoy the festive light switch-on, followed by the return of the Festive Marketplace.
Expect daily free film screenings, live music, creative workshops and seasonal food and drink. Expanded decorations and refreshed lighting help create a truly magical winter setting. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays after the Light Switch On until 24th December, also open 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December.
