Westgate Oxford is celebrating the 2026 World Cup with an exciting schedule of family-focused activities.
The celebrations kick off on Friday 19th June with a lively ‘Keepy Uppies’ competition on Leiden Square. Children of all ages are invited to take part in the friendly challenge to show off their best footwork and compete for ultimate bragging rights, with little ones invited to take part in ball-balancing and colour-matching activities throughout the day as well.
For the adults, Flight Club will host a Spin the Wheel activation giving guests aged 18 or over the opportunity to win exciting prizes including free drinks and social darts sessions.
Westgate Oxford’s free crafting club will also return each weekend for the duration of the tournament, with activities encouraging children to get creative and design their own football kit, complete colour-in activities, and get stuck into the communal scribble board where young fans can share what football means to them.
World Cup matches will be broadcast in Westgate Social prior to the venue’s 10pm closure as well as inside Flight Club, where guests can keep up with the score while enjoying a new dining menu and al fresco drinks on the outdoor roof terrace, as well as igniting their own sporting competitive streak with fun and interactive social darts.
