Alpine brought heritage, creativity and performance together at the 2026 Goodwood Revival, with a four-car display that stretched from the rally-winning spirit of the A110 Berlinette to Trevor Jackson’s unique interpretation of the new Alpine A390
Throughout the weekend, the Alpine display gave visitors a chance to see several very different sides of the brand in one place: historic rallying, modern lightweight performance, electric competition and a one-off piece of automotive art.
ALPINE A390 TAKES ON A NEW LOOK
Making its public debut at Goodwood was Trevor Jackson’s unique interpretation of the Alpine A390, created in collaboration with Alpine Design Director Antony Villain and the Alpine design team.
This car is a distinct representation of the legacy of Alpine, refined into an innovative contemporary icon. The project acts as a creative interpretation of the Alpine A390 and encouraged viewers to see the car through a new lens.
From a distance, the car creates a bold image with abstract linework blending thick and thin strips and patterns of black graphics. Upon closer inspection, the design changes and the colours of the design start to reveal themselves revealing the full digitally inspired design.
Built around Alpine’s new optimised electric architecture, the Alpine A390 delivers up to 470PS and 824Nm, and can achieve 0-62mph in as quick as 3.9 seconds. The A390 features Alpine’s unique Active Torque Vectoring system, enabled by two independent motors on the rear axle, allowing precise control of torque at each wheel. The result is exceptional agility, balance and responsiveness, ensuring a driving experience defined by feel and driver engagement.
Illuminated by lights, the Alpine A390 ‘Array’ grabbed visitors attention in the Earl’s Court building at the Goodwood Motor Circuit across the event weekend.
FROM CROCODILES TO RALLY LEGENDS
Also attracting plenty of attention was Beware of the Crocodile – Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye, the collaboration between two iconic French brands based on Alpine Racing’s first 100% electric customer competition car.
Alongside it, an A110 Berlinette in rally specification represented the lightweight, agile philosophy that helped establish Alpine on the international rally stage and secure the inaugural World Rally Championship for Manufacturers in 1973.
Completing the line-up was the current-generation Alpine A110, linking the Berlinette’s original formula with its acclaimed modern interpretation. While production of this generation concluded at Alpine’s historic Dieppe facility in July, UK enthusiasts still have a final chance to own an award-winning A110, with a limited number available through the Alpine retail network.
Nicola Burnside, Alpine UK Brand Director, said: “Goodwood Revival always creates a special atmosphere, and this year it gave us the perfect setting to show just how broad the Alpine story has become. Trevor’s A390 brought something completely new to the display, while the A290 Rallye, Berlinette and A110 connected that creativity back to the competition spirit and lightweight performance that have always defined the brand. It was fantastic to see visitors engaging with all four cars throughout the weekend.”
