Birmingham’s Principle Estate Management is setting its sights on increasing its presence on the South Coast after opening its first office in the region.
The property management specialist, which manages more than 26,000 units across the UK, has invested over £250,000 into launching the Parkway base in Fareham, supporting clients stretching from Saltdean near Brighton to Seaton on the Devon coast, taking in some of the most active and fastest-growing residential markets in the country.
Kevin Daniells has been recruited as Director for the South and will be responsible for building a portfolio of developments and a dedicated local team to meet the needs of clients on the ground.
He brings with him national and international experience of running an estate agent and, more recently, working with his brother at Daniells Harrison Chartered Surveyors, where he quadrupled the turnover of the property management division before the firm was acquired by BTG Eddisons.
“This is an exciting opportunity with a company keen to take its hugely successful blueprint into the South Coast – an area that is awash with regeneration schemes and residential developments that will need managing properly,” explained Kevin.
“Fareham is the ideal base for our Southern office and a location I know well. It’s ideally placed with good transport connections ans the railway station is just a mile away. We also have easy access to Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester.”
He continued: “I wanted to be part of what I consider a family firm, where everybody is looking out for everybody else and there is a real personal level of service for residents and clients alike. Having spent lots of time bouncing ideas around with the management, I knew it felt like the right fit.”
Principle, which employs 115 people, provides comprehensive property management services, including block, estate and lettings management, to developers, housebuilders, freeholders, resident management companies and landlords.
Founded in 2018 with the mission to deliver ‘property management, properly done’, the company is headquartered in Birmingham and has grown to over £9m annual revenues, looking after high-profile schemes at York and Nottingham Terrace, Charlesworth House and Portman Towers in London.
It recently opened a new office for the North West in Manchester and follows this exciting move with the launch of its Fareham operation, which hopes to have a team of five in place over the next twelve months.
Kevin, who secured a £24m government grant to revolutionise the fortunes of 390 homes at Grand Ocean in Saltdean, picked up the story: “My approach to building the southern portfolio is rooted in the same philosophy that has served me throughout my career: relationships first, quality always, growth through word of mouth rather than volume for its own sake.
“We are dealing with somebody’s largest investment, and it’s often their home too. Customers want a quick response, and they want to deal with the same person or members of the team. It’s so important to build a relationship, as this often leads to new opportunities.”
